& Game Prototyping
During a 14-month contract with Meta, I worked as a Technical Artist and AR prototyper across several teams and projects for the Oculus Quest 2 and Hololens 2. Prototypes were developed in Unity and Spark AR Studio.
Work included:
The creation, ingestion, and assembly of animated 3D assets for accessible use across Meta products in AR / VR / Mobile experiences
Design and execution of a reusable 3D file template for the cross-use of 3D assets that included automatic surface detection (for wall, floor, table placement and free floating) with transitional state changes
C# and JS scripting for AR/VR input controllers in Spark AR Studio
Game and interaction concept prototyping for live, room scaled experiences
HSLS shader scripting for efficient graphics handling
Creation and animation of both heads-up display and in-environment UI elements and corresponding UX / menu flow
Online and onsite hardware playtesting
